Heartrates? Did everyone have high rates
and have a girl? or was this false for some? i'm curious...

no, so far my little man's was between 155-160 every time. I think hes excited hes in my belly...i give him lots of sweet treats

My baby's heartrate was 167 at 12 weeks and last week at our 20 week ultrasound we found out we are having a baby girl

We dont know what we are having, and our heart rate is always at 157-160. But, my sister had a boy and his rate was always in that range...
I asked the sono tech and she said she did a test on it once, meaning she looked at 30 or 40 sono's, wrote down the heartbeat and the sex and there was no correlation..... so, her belief is old wives tale.....

lol. oh well i guess i can't go by the heartrate but its still fun to try and guess. mine has been between 159 - 164. today was 159 at 16 1/2 weeks.

mine was 123 early on but at 11 weeks was 162, at 20 weeks it was 142 and i am having a boy, so it fluctuated

This old wives tale is true for us! The first time we heard the baby's heart rate, it was 164, and she's all !

On Tuesday, mine was 150 and I'm 17 weeks today. Not sure what we're having yet but my OB said that in his experience, even though he doesn't believe in old wives tales, that boys are in the 120s and thereabout.

I'm 32 wks 4 days and his rate yesterday was 152 bpm. My doctor said this is normal.

Ours has been higher than any of the ones posted.
You probably just caught your baby at an exciting time. When they move around a lot their heartrates can shoot up to the 170's and 180's but that is not their baseline.

after that my DS did have low
