Heartburn from met or progesterone?
Has anyone ever had heartburn from either of these? I switched to met XR last week, and so far so good with my tummy, but I am wondering if this is a side effect from it? It started on Monday and has been getting worse.
Or could it be from the progesterone? Or maybe the trigger? I've never had it before but I know these hormones always mess with my body.

Re: Heartburn from met or progesterone?
nope... only time I had heartburn was right before my BFP, but maybe it could have been from the progesterone too...so I guess I'm not much help!

Re: Heartburn from met or progesterone?
I had awful heartburn after my transfer with my IVF and I think I even posted about it. I NEVER had it before and thought it might be good news, but I guess maybe it was medication induced.
I am thinking its from the progesterone because since Ive been on it again, Ive had a little heartburn.

I agree w/ PP. I had heartburn too, which I thought was a sign. but, it was most likely the progesterone.
Since I stopped the shots I had soreness too in the shot area. For like 2 1/2 weeks later. I tried to massage the area and that seemed to help it go away. It was really weird.

Glad to know I'm not alone. Also glad to know I have a new s/e from progesterone to add to the list.

Lauren, I just realized- I've had heartburn for the past 3 days. It's driving me nuts!!!! I just had a really bad attack of it... what are you taking (if anything) for it? I usually just have some milk and that makes it go away for a while but even milk didn't help just now... I don't know how to get rid of it.

It is not so bad today, its been the worst at night... I haven't taken anything. You can try tums or pepto - something like that.
