Heartburn (don't move)
I have never had heartburn till I was pregnant with DS2. First time I felt it and knew exactly what it was. Had it on and off since then. DS2 is 3 yrs old now.
Well, just a couple of days ago I took cold meds at night and woke with major heartburn. I've had it since and tried everything! Tums, apple cider vinegar (NASTY), acid reducer, etc. Nothing seems to be working.
Anyone get this issue after kids? DS1 has been having sleeping issues the last month so maybe it's stress from him. He is finally getting better now and now that he's sleeping I can't bc of the heartburn. Haven't changed anything in my diet.
Ugh! Getting older and being a mom is tough... my period cycle recently changed and now this. I keep telling DH when did I get old? I feel like it happened over night! LOL

If you have a cold, it's likely you have post nasal drip and that's dripping into your stomach when you're lying down, causing the heartburn.

Oh thanks. That could be it too. I tried to sleep sitting more upright and it helped, but it's annoying that it's on and off.
