Heartbeat!!!!
Yay, Shrimpy has a heartbeat!!!! We went for our sonogram yesterday and everything is looking great!
Except the doctor felt it looked a little small based on the dates of my last period, so she adjusted my due date and put me back a week!  So I was 7w4d, now I'm back to 6w4d  I feel like I'm having to repeat kindergarten or something!!!! I kind of expected it because I knew I didn't O until CD18, but a whole week! I was supposed to be 8 weeks this Saturday and we were going to tell a few family members, but now it still feels entirely too early.
Ah, well, in all seriousness, I'm just really happy that everything is progressing well and that we have a picture of our little Shrimpy!

Congrats!! It's always heartwarming when you get to see/hear the heartbeat!
And 1 week feels like a lot now, but don't worry soon it all flies so fast you forget which week you are in.

awww good to hear!! you should definitely not be worried about being pushed back a week - my guess is that shrimpy will catch up and be "on schedule" in no time!!

Congrats!!!
I fear that the same thing is going to happen to me when i go for my first sono on March 3rd. I didn't O until CD19, so basing my due date on my LMP isn't really accurate. I'm guessing they will push me back too. We'll just have to wait and see.

That's the funny bit - I'm not worried about the baby one bit!  It's more the psychology of having to repeat the 7th week! I'm such a bad mommy! 
Actually, in checking the measurements, they all seem to be consistent with an embryo late in the 7th week, so I don't think there's any reason to be worried.

Fingers crossed for you! I know in the grand scheme of things the baby will come when it comes and it's progressing when it's progressing - I know in my head there's no sense in fooling myself, I mean I KNOW when I ovulated. Still, that week means a lot when you're counting them down so vigilantly, doesn't it?

We saw the heartbeat for the first time on Monday and it was just amazing.
I thought I was 8wks already but the baby measured 7wks 3days...I was too worried, its a week...and since I have no idea when I got preggo, I knew my estimate might be off anyways.

Thanks! I know exactly what you mean. Every week that passes feels like a milestone, so I just want to know which week I'm really in and what's going on in there. It stinks to have to wait another 2.5 weeks for my sono.

Every time I go they goive me adifferent measurement within 2-3 days. Don't worry. You're still almost there and you can tell whenever you want!

Congrats.
Dont feel bad about the week. Based on my LMP I thought I was 7w 4d when I went for my ultrasound but after my blood test and measuring the little peanut I was actually 6w2d. It happens to a lot of us and is totally normal.
Isn't it great to see the heartbeat.
