Heart rate concern
so when i went for my first sono at 6w5d the tech said that the heart rate was 122bmp i thought that was awfuly slow. and im starting to worry the more i read about them being so high... i hope all is ok.
my mom said that with my older brother they couldnt hear his heart beat till she was 4 months pregnant since it was slow. so im assuming this is normal but i cant help but be worried naturally!

When the heart first starts beating it starts off slower. It was still early, you don't know when it started to beat - you could have caught it right in the beginning stages!

earlier it is slower - i think they look for it to be above 100 so 122 is much above that!  I'm sure it will be higher next time

at our last u/s - we were told that they look for it to be between 120 & 180....(that ours was on the high end - but still in the normal range at 170).
if they were worried, they'd tell you sweety!!! Believe me on that one!

My first sono was early also @ 6w3d and the HR was exactly 120. My sono @ 9d4d the Heartrate was 167.

I had a sono at the same time and the first rate was 119 then you will go back and notice a huge increase. The heart prolly just started beating. Not to worry just remain positive and calm.
