heart beat dopplers??

I just bought one of those Baby Beat heart beart doppler's on ebay for $90 and was wondering if anyone has had good experience with them? Do they really work at detecting and hearing the heartbeat??

Wow you got it for cheap!! I just went on the website and saw you can rent one for between 25-60$ a month. I heard they are really good. I'm going to have to ask DH to buy me one off of ebay lol

I rent mine and love it. It helps with my daughter so that I can show her there really is a living being in my belly. I will send it back as soon as really start feeling kicks.

I rented one monthly with first DD and have been looking at the ones on ebay but haven't bought it yet.

I loved having it and sitting with DH listening to not only the HB, but all the movement going on inside. It helped him bond more with the pregnancy as more than just an outside observer

My Best friend had bought one for her pregnancy off of ebay I think, and let me borrow it for my pregnancy... It has been wonderful to hear his heartbeat, especially before I could feel him kicking me... I'm not sure what she paid, maybe $150- 200??? It is the Stork Radio..

I LOVED my fetal heart monitor from Baby Beat. I always heard Emerson's HB with no problem. My advice is to go low...........very low, pretty much down by the va-jay-jay. I was up high at first on my belly which is where you would think it would be but I couldn't find it. Someone told me to go low and I never had that problem again. Use lots of goo and you can't miss that HB.....it sounds EXACTLY like a galloping horse. Have fun!!! Happy listening!!
