Headhunters/Recruiters
I am curious how you would go about finding someone to help me see "what's out there" in my field. I work in television so it's not like I can pick up Newsday and see what's out there...
HELP!

I would post your resume on Monster, HotJobs, CareerBuilder and Craig's List. Recruiters who have jobs in your field will contact you directly.
Other than that-- I know of one web site that specializes in TV/Entertainment-- it's called www.showbizjobs.com.

I used to work for a staffing firm, and we primarily utilized monster, hotjobs, and careerbuilder to find our candidates.

What do you do in Television?
ETA: I'm in ad sales and work/have worked for a few networks. Maybe I can help.

I am a TV Producer. Both produce television and work with talent...I have never actively sought a job, I have been here since I graduated college!
