Re: headaches
I had more headaches than usual in the first trimester. Snacking throughout the day and drinking enough water helped out.

Make sure you drink plenty of water. I found I got headaches when I did't drink enough.

Re: headaches
yes I had horrible migraines about once a week in the 1st trimester. I don't think I had any since the 2nd trimester, hang in there!

Re: headaches
My headaches started in the 2nd trimester and then went away. They recently started back up again with the heat and humidity. Like others have said, drink lots of water and it's okay to take Tylenol if it gets really bad.

Re: headaches
i am a long time migraine sufferer. with my first baby, i had non-stop headaches in my first and third trimesters. in this pregnancy, i had them in the second trimester only. such proof that a major component is hormones (which i had never considered before i got pregnant). good luck... i have a few pregnancy headache relief tricks i use:
- ice pack on the back of the neck - vicks vapor rub on the areas of your face where it hurts - small amounts of caffeine - if all of those fail, excedrine migraine (which my ob okay'ed starting 2nd trimester) is a GODSEND and i am someone who doesn't get much relief from most OTC medications

headaches
I have headaches but I am pretty sure its due to lack of caffeine. I can't drink coffee anymore, without splenda its so bitter so I went from 2-3 cups a day to 0. Hope you feel better.

headaches
If you cut out coffee cold turkey, I'm sure that's the reason for your headaches. They can be debilitating.
Maybe try to wean yourself off slowly to help. Have a small cup for a few days, then 3/4, then half, until you're down to nothing.

i'm not a coffee drinker, but i did drink a can of soda a couple of times a week and i cut it out completely.
