He threw up again!!! Update on bottom....
Cailen threw up in daycare Tuesday afternoon - around 2:00ish - they called me at 3 today - he did it again... He has a bit of a cough - the dr. said that mucus can do that, but this is so upsetting... i feel so bad for him. They also said he was crying today....  I guess he still isnt feeling well. My poor baby...

I don't understand. Babies throw up. That's what they do. Sometimes it is curdled milk, but that just means that it was already processed. Steven still does this.

This is what I thought too...do they call you everytime he throws up? Don't babies throw up all the time? Maybe I'm just a naive preggers over here...I don't know

There is a difference between spit up and throw up... babies spit up all the time, not throw up...

Obviously, I know there is a difference. However, babies throw up. It's not that uncommon and it doesn't always mean there is something wrong. Sometimes they have a difficult time processing their food or just have a sour belly. Especially formula fed babies, which I know Cailen is.
I'm sorry that he is not feeling well and hope he gets better soon

I have to agree with the others, babies throw up and spit up . Sometimes more than other times. If my babysitter called me everytimes Sara spit up as a baby I would have left work everyday.
Maybe tell your doctor that he is spitting up alot. Its probably formula related .

My daycare calls me when my kids threw up.
I agree with the others. Babies spit up all of the time. Mine didn't throw up very often at all.
Hope he's feeling better soon!
Do you need a cool mist humidifier?

Did he ever throw up when he was home with you? Maybe they are doing something differently when they feed him. Do they keep his bottles refrigerated?

Thats the thing - when he began I told them he rarely ever spits up... And the 2 times he threw up a lot!!! It was more than spit up - the 1st time they called, I asked if it was spit up, and she said " no - he REALLY threw up!"
They also knew he wasn't feeling well, and also because he's so young, they just want to keep me apprised of everything going on, which I appreciate....
We spoke - and they think that they may not be burping him enough - he has begun to eat more, and he eats fast, so that could be it!
Thanks for the concern ladies! I felt better after we spoke and they agreed that they should try and burp him more often!

Throwing up could be from a lot of things, I guess they should be calling since it could be viral and get other kids sick ..
The two times johnny has thrown up since he's born it was because once he gagged on something he shoved in his throat, the other time i think he was overfed
