He is already outgrowing his 3-month old clothes

So DS is now 10.5 weeks and he just wore his 6 month old PJ tonight for the first time Chat Icon

I totally did not anticipate him to grow that fast. He is almost too big now for all his 3 month old clothes.

I'm not looking forward to that step up. My DD is only 3 weeks, 3 days - and she's just starting to "fit" into her 0-3 month clothes and that makes me depressed. Chat Icon

I know. They grow really fast. My DS outgrew his 0-3 at 8 wks Chat Icon He was just starting 6-9 at 11wks. Chat Icon And now at 4 months, we're starting 12 month size. Chat Icon

I cannot even begin to image how much money will have been spent on clothing for this child by the time he is one year old. And everyone gave me either 0-3 or 3-6 month size, so we're on our own now. Chat Icon

I am glad I told my family to buy me 8 month clothing. But I am also on my own for 9 months and up.

the clothing thing is really hard. DS is a big 7 week old (more than 12 lbs) so he is in 0-3 bur can also wear 3-6. Plus with the season changing I can't really determine what he will be wearing and if I have too little or too many clothes.

My first grew faster actually, but don't worry - they even out and he was in 18 month for at least a year.

my second is following the same pace Chat Icon

Up until 12 weeks, Lucas was in 0-3 months. Now he is moving into 3-6 for one-piece (still 0-3 in pants cause he has a flat tushy) but I know that size goes faster than the blink of an eye so we went out for 6 months this weekend. It goes too fast. I got all teary eyed putting away the smaller sizes. His new onesies are huge compared to the 3 months.

DD is just now starting to wear about 3 of her 3-6 month outfits - but much of her 0-3 still fits her perfectly - in fact some of the two piece outfits the bottoms in 0-3 are still huge on her. She was 12lbs 8 ozs at her ped visit on Friday. She will be 11 weeks tomorrow.

I really think the 0-3's are super small. DS outgrew them by the time he was 8 weeks old.

Sophie really? WOW!

Christopher must be a peanut. He is 4 months+ and still wearing his 3 month stuff and his 3-6 month stuff is pretty huge. He still fit in a couple of 0-3 things, but I was bored with them, so I packed them awayChat Icon

He was wearing NB on our trip to Florida and he was over 3 months oldChat Icon

Jeffrey never fit into the newborn size. At 5 weeks he is still in the 0-3 month clothing but I can see some of the outfits are getting to be short on him - I can see within the next few weeks we will have to start putting him in the 3-6 month clothing.

Re: He is already outgrowing his 3-month old clothes

I have a closet full of stuff that will never fit Taylor at the right time of the year. She is just about 6 months and still in 3 month clothing. Unfortunately, most people didn't give us gift receipts so I kept them.
