HCG and Testing....

Just wondering when I will be able to test in this cycle. I'm waiting to ovulate. When I do I will do and HCG shot at day 3, 6, and 9.
So how many days after the last shot am I going to have to wait to test?

Why would you be prescribed an HCG shot 3, 6, and 9 days after ovulating? I thought it's one shot, after they see a full-grown follie that needs a little help being pushed out.

are you sure you are doing an HCG shot that many times? once is standard, a booster a few days later is occasional.. but a third?? that is def a unique protocol.

whats the dosage of each shot?? for a regular 10,000iu shot you would need to wait about 6-8 days for the shot to be out of your system. however if you are doing 1 at 9DPO.. then you would need to wait until like almost 18DPO to be safe testing, depending on the HCG dosage..

but 3 HCG shots seems VERY strange so you might want to double check your protocol or ask your RE why. also, you said you will wait til you ovulate to do the HCG shot?? the HCG shot usually CAUSES ovulation so you wouldnt wait for ovulation to occur THEN do the shot.. very strange..

I don't have your basic IF issues of not ovulating. I ovulate on my own fine. I did Femara to help with FSH and eggs .They are doing the HCG for luteal phase support if I am understanding correctly. It is not a trigger shot that most are used to doing.
I trust my RE completely so I'm going with it.
It's not the full vial. I believe it's the vial spread over 3 doses. I will get the exact details once I ovulate.
So I'm thinking I'll have to wait 12 days from my last shot. I guess they'll tell me when I can test too.
