Having kids over
When did you allow kids to come over and see the baby. MIL had DH convinced it s 3 months. I am gong to ask the peditrician, but I wanted to ask over here too?

Julia was born in the summer (July) so I wasnt so nervous with her seeing her cousins who r (3 and 1) when she got home from the hospital, but now that they are in school, I dont let her see them as much cause they seem to get sick so often now, so if I can avoid her getting sick I will.

Well, I didn't "allow" it, they just showed up!  My aunt with her 2 kids (a 3 yr old and a 3 month old) and my DH's friend with his two elementary school aged kids came over when Jake was 3 weeks old. Luckily, it was fine and Jake didn't get sick.

I have 2 toddlers who are in school/play groups, so I had no choice but to have them around my baby, just don't let them touch. I had kids at my house when my son was 5 days old, but be careful since it is flu season, lots of hand washing!

My friends' kids came over when my son was a week old. They ranged in age from 7 mos-3 yrs old. The kids didn't touch my son and were not sick.

If the kids weren't sick I let them come over I have a lot of little kids in my family. Plus I only let them touch her feet and legs
