Having friends over for dinner
We are having friends over for dinner and their 3 kids. Does anyone have a go to recipe they make for company?

How old are the kids?
Pizza is always a big hit here when we have friends/kids over. You can do a more "adult" pizza and a kids pizza... vary the toppings. You can add a salad on the side for the adults too.
If you want to go simple, a nice roasted chicken is always great with either rice or potatoes and a veggie.
Baked ziti or stuffed shells is probably a pretty safe option too, paired with some garlic bread and a salad.

I had my family over (which included my sister and her 3 kids) last week... we had tacos... the kids loved it (they love tacos!)
Another time, my cousins came with their daughter I made Pasta Bolognese... she had 2 huge bowls... it was a hit!
parm crusted chicken cutlets with pasta (vodka sauce or whatever sauce you like)
