Having bday party a few weeks after bday
Would you do this if you we're in my position? I'm due with a baby a week before DD's bday. I was 9 days late with DD so I'm not banking on being early or even on time. DD's bday is 1/7. I was thinking of doing a kiddie party for her out on the 18th or 19th but I'm thinking maybe the 25th would be even better. Even if I'm late, baby would be 3 weeks. We would be leaving him/her with family member for the 2 hours.
Dd is turning 3 so I'm thinking she won't really care/get why her party is late after bday. Or, she'll be asking me about it every single day lol.

Having bday party a few weeks after bday
If I were you I would do it only if you leave the new baby home with someone. I'm sure you would be dying for a few hours out of the house

I think that's totally fine! I'm sure your 3 year old would rather have a bday a few weeks later than have birth of sibling possibly interfere!

Yes, that's definitely my plan. I would never bring a NB to a kids party place.
