Have you had this happen? Monitor related
Our Summer day/night monitor started acting up. It does this popping sound continuously. I contacted the company and they sent me a pre-paid UPS form to send it back to them. Then they will send me a new one, or this one fixed. They said the entire process takes 2 weeks. So, we'll have no monitor for two weeks.  (Our place is small, but now that he's flipping, it's so nice to check on the video that he's still on his back without getting up.)
The video still works perfect. Has this happened to anybody? Any suggestions? We have it on the right channel, the plug is in the wall and the monitor is charged.

The sound on ours never worked correctly. I actually only use the video option on that monitor and I have another monitor for sound.

Ours gets static-y every once and a while, but thats it.
I don't know what I would do without my monitor!

I am so sick of my monitor - it's the Graco iMonitor. It also clicks, and....turns itself off in the middle of the night!!
I wrote to them, they are sending me a UPS label to return for a full refund. I have an OLD audio only monitor that I am going to use instead. I mean, I don't need to see her, I know what she looks like, and it's dark in her room anyway, I could never see her!

I HATE my monitor. Its a graco with 2 extensions.
I thought it was just mine that is "possessed". All of sudden in the middle of the night it pops, the lights on it go up and it scares the crap out of me!
I find if I move it a little, it usually stops. I am usually freaked out by then and can't fall back asleep!

I had an issue with my Summer (more with the picture) and they sent me a new system overnight and asked that I return the defective one.
I'm surprised they are asking you to send it back first. Try calling again and speaking with someone different.

OK i have had static AND once i had it on another channel by mistake and i saw someone elses baby in the neighborhood AND i heard the whole conversation inside the house... I immediately whiched channels bc then i thought they would see and hear us too

same here. i got mine last week. i worked with maddie i think and rob too. i got it in 1 day and the lady even forgot to tell me to return the one i have and i wouldn't have known if i didn't get the return stamp.

Are you sure that the sound is not just from wind? My Summer Monitor is so sensitive that the wind sounds like static.

My Summer monitor sometimes makes sounds like that - it also doesn't hold a charge very well  and makes those static like popping noises every now and then. But, i just deal with it b/c otherwise it works pretty ok. Let us know if they will replace it easier for you! Hope it works out

Does it always do it?
Whenever mine makes that sound it's because I'm too close to something else electronic or wireless (phone, laptop, speakers, etc.)
I need to be able to see him - especially now that he's standing.
