Have you ever thought this?
Have you ever thought that even though the people you care about (friends, family, SO) mean well, that a few may indirectly, subconsciously try to sabotage your success? I am just wondering why, of all times, hubby picked exactly 7 days before my comprehensive exam to tell me something he has been feeling for months. Why now? Could it have waited until my test was over?
I don't know if this is important, but I will say it anyway. Once I take these tests and finish my last placement, I will be the bread winner, while he is still trying to get his career going. I don't know if I am just being petty or even just a plain old beyotch.
At this point I have gone from crying to anger, so it may just be the anger's point of view. That's why I am posting. Do I have a valid point here or is it my anger just putting thoughts in my head?

I don't know if it was sabotage, but it was inconsiderate of him to spring this on you at such an inconvenient time

I don't think your being a Beyotch at all...Your taking the Praxis right for SLP?
That is not an easy test and for him to spring something on your so soon before hand is inconsiderate!
I would def be POed!
Just cool off and even though it will be hard try not to let it bother you...Concentrate about your test and study! Worry about it later

Thanks, and yes it's the praxis for speech language pathology. I don't think he really gets the urgancy about the test. He thinks because I have done well on my previous in-class tests I will get a perfect score. Studying a chapter or two is a lot easier than studying everything you were ever taught! Plus the passing grade for the comps at my school is 85.
