Have you ever painted an entire room and than changed your mind about the color?

DH is going to kill me. We painted our living room and dining room awhile ago when we moved in. I let the paint color "sit on me" for a while but I decided I want to change it and add crown molding, etc. DH hates painting, I am actaully the painter but now w/the baby it is hard to find the time to do it.

Yes - I orginally was not happy with my living room color at all. But I knew I would have to live for it for awhile since we paid a painter to do it. After about a month, it started growing on me, and as I added more furniture to the room I grew to really like it So I freaked out for no reason!

Yep. I tried to deal with it but wound up repainting about a year later.

My Living Room has been repainted, my Kitchen was repainted immediately - my Dining Room has been recently repainted, and my Bedroom has been painted twice, and will most likely be done again b/c I can't stand the color ..........Want to know how long we've been in the house ?????

I think Joe's going to kill me! I can't WAIT to repaint the living room, hallway, and bathroom. We just moved a year ago so painting is still to fresh in his mind!

Yep! My dining room used to be blue and white Dh's choice. I hated it! I went ahead and re-pained it to a deep red with white and it looks so much better. Not to mention it coordinates now with the living room.

Yes. I'm dying to paint the kitchen and our upstairs bath again, but DH would be really annoyed so I'm trying to ignore how much I hate them.

yup
the day after the painter did the room and he called me and told me that he thought i wouldn't like the color
he thought it was more fem than expected so he repainted it for me

We painted and then repainted the bathroom a few days later - thank goodness it was a fairly small space so it didn't take forever! Sometimes it just doesn't look the way you imagine it will once the paint gets up there...

We painted our den a yellow color and hated it -even though we tried a sample. A few days later DH repainted. Waste of $$ but better to have it the way you want it!
