Have you ever had to cancel last minute on a baby-sitter?
I feel terrible. DH and I were both supposed to go out tonight but he went to work at 3 am and came home and doesnt want to go out now b/c he is exhausted. It is the first time this girl is supposed to be baby-sitting for us and I feel horrible and embarrassed cancelling last minute...she's 16 so I'm sure she can find something else to do
Should I tell DH to suck it up and go out or cancel?

When are you supposed to leave? Can DH take a quick nap now until the sitter comes, then just go out to dinner and come home (if you were planning on doing stuff after dinner originally)?
If you really want to get out and DH can catch a quick nap, I say go if you can!

maybe try it for an hour, this way she makes a little money, gets to know your child, and gets to know you.
and for that hour, maybe run some errands.
