Have you ever complained about a restaurant check?
DH and I went to lunch with 2 friends today. We went to a pricey Italian restaurant for lunch. We went there because they offer a "lunch menu" (lower prices)
Well, the waiter gave us the regular menu. When I asked about it, he said they don't have a lunch menu (I know this to be a lie)
Then, he didn't bring out the customary anitpasto that the restaurant includes with every dinner.
So, after he cleared away our plates and was on his way to get our check, I made a snarky comment to DH
"Make sure his tip reflects the missing antipasto and how we got screwed on the lunch prices"
Low and behold, when our check arrived, he only charged the lunch prices.
Glad I ran my mouth!

A lot of restaurants have lunch specials Mon-Fri but not on the weekend. Are you sure that isn't the case? Anyway I speak up when there is an error, and I point it out to the waiter.

I thought about that. But, we eat there A LOT and they always have an antipasto station set up where the make the antipastos. They ALWAYS serve the antipasto with a dinner entree. Not today.
They didn't have the antipasto station set up at all and that was a dead give away to me.
