Yes when we first started dating for a few months While DH was living in Colorado and I was still in college.

me and dh actually separated last summer for 3 months. we were going thru a really difficult time together, so we decided to spend some time apart, to give eachother some thinking space, and time to clear our heads. we have been together since we were 18, and married for 6 years at that time. and rather then throwing away a marriage and a relationship that we both wanted to work on. we took the appropriate steps for ourselves. and i have to say our marriage has never been stronger. i am glad we both worked on the marriage and our relationship. it would have been a shame to give up on our marriage, without giving it our best shot to work.
