Have my first internal exam tonight
What should I expect at this appt?
Although they had to do an internal exam in the hospital when I was having pre term labor what else do they do a this appt. beside the actual internal exam?

It will probably the same as the other internal, the lovely probe, and then they will take measurements and probably give you pics to take home of your baby!!! Good luck!! It's exciting. You will probably hear the heartbeat as well!!

If you havent had the strep B yet they might do that. Otherwise just be ready for them to try to go elbow deep 
I love it when they come out with their hand in that claw position, do you think they are trained to do that in med school?

I love it when they come out with their hand in that claw position, do you think they are trained to do that in med school?
I had the Strep B at my last appt. When my doctor did the internal at the hospital she said she could feel the baby's head, I was like

Not at all, I barely noticed they were doing anything.

Nope, not at all. As my doctor was taking a sample she said, it's going to pinch a little bit so I began to prepare myself for some pain but as I was doing that she said, all done!
I didn't feel a thing.

 Pretty much but it honestly doesn't hurt as much as you think, you'll see besides Dr. Werner is really gentle

Its not as bad as it sounds...they really have to get in there to check..just make sure they lube up
