Hatchimals
Are these things worth the hype? Sold out everywhere and you wouldn't catch me dead attempting to pay the prices I've seen them going for on ebay

Re: Hatchimals
Wait a few months and they will be back to the normal price, which IMO is still high. I know my DD- she would play with it until it hatched and then it would be tossed in the pile with all her other forgotten crap that she just HAD to have.
I don't do "hot" toys

Re: Hatchimals
Wasn't there something about how they're defective? They don't fully hatch out of their shell without your help breaking it open.

Set up a zoolert. It texts you when they are available. Most of the time it's Walmart and you have to buy the minute you get the text.

Re: Hatchimals
My daughter asked Santa for one. I think the Furby is a better toy since its way more interactive than the Hatchimal. I have a friend that works at Best buy and they are supposed to get them in store, so he is going to grab me one.

Re: Hatchimals
WE have a furby because DS wanted one a few years ago. It's so annoying. Maybe we were supposed to train it better. It just turns on randomly and then we can't make it shut up. If Hatchimals are anything like it, I guess I'm glad we can't get one.

What is the point of that stupid thing??? DD opened it, tried to play with it and it basically did nothing. Was it supposed to do anything more than make a noise occasionally when you push the button on it's back? Dumbest toy ever, unless ours is defective.

Re: Hatchimals
They are not worth it. My nieces got them for their birthdays (purchased before the crazy hype of them).
They hatched within an hour of opening them. After the hatching it's like having a Furby.

Isn't that what they are supposed to do?
