has anyones doctor told them this....

i had my appt the other day with my ob, i'm 30 weeks and a day. i told him that my csection scar (or the area around it) from my son has been bothering me lately. he told me that when i go to the high risk doctor next week to have him measure the scar (due to new guidelines). he said this would determine possibly one of two things.....1)if he needs to put me on strict bedrest or 2)if he wuold need to take the baby early. i asked if he meant earlier than the 2 weeks she's already scheduled to come and he said yes. i'm guessing this would be bc of the stress of the pregnancy on my existing scar and the possible weakness of my uterus there>?!?! but, has anyone else ever heard of this? i had never before wednesday.....

My girlfriend who had her last 2 kids very close together via c-section was told this from the beginning. They told her, that her scar could be weak because it did not have alot of time to heal. They kept thier eyes on her, but she was OK and they took the baby at the regular 2 weeks early date.

wow, thanks for the update...i'm glad to hear i was not the only one told this. maybe thats it then. my two will be 21 months apart....who knows?! thanks for the info though!!!!
