Is the Express pass worth it? For an extra $20/ticket (5 of us are going) you get to skip the lines. We'd like to go to both the 86th and 102nd floors. Are the lines usually that long? Just wondering. TIA

It depends on when you are going, I went a few years ago in February and it was EMPTY

I went on Wednesday or Thursday of the first week in June and there was no line. Saturday would probably be worse, but...can you play it by ear or do you need to buy the express pass in advance?

we went a few years ago right before christmas. the line was insanely long. we opted to do the simulator thing and they took us to the front of the line when we were done and we still had to wait. so i guess it depends on the day
