Has anyone used a Potty Watch?
Jack is constantly fighting me when it's time to go on the toilet, even when he has to go.
He does not want to be interrupted with whatever he is doing.
I just got the One Step Ahead catalog and saw the potty watch. I'm thinking maybe it will be good to set it and then when it goes off it will be a warning for him that it's time to go.
Any thoughts on this? Has anyone used this or something similar?

I think you are better off getting a kitchen timer (or using your existing one). In my opinion, it's a novelty item which is a waste once you are done using it

I just ordered it, it's only 11 dollars. I thought about the kitchen timer but then I would have to remember to bring it with us everywhere. I can make it like this is a special thing for him. It supposedly sings Potty songs too! We'll see!

Re: Has anyone used a Potty Watch?
We used it for a little bit in the beginning. When we first opened it, the watch itself didn't work. DH had to take it apart and tinker with it in order to get it working... It plays a catchy melody to the tune of Oh My Darling Clementine. The words are on the package for you to sing along. LOL You can set it for 20 mins, 30 mins or 60 mins. It lights up and plays music. Thomas liked it a lot at first. Then I think just the contstant annoyance of having to sit on the potty wore him down and he started to rebel against it but I don't necessarily think it was the potty watch - just the 20 minute rule we were going by. We don't use it anymore, but just the other day, T found it and pressed the buttons until it played and then announced "it was potty time because the potty watch went off". LOL
It's worth a shot.
