Has anyone tried...

Those mats that you put under the highchair to make it easier to clean up the floor afterwards?

Emily is testing her boundries. She throws everything out of the highchair.

DH doesn't look where he's going and steps on it, and smushes it into the floor, and then I have to scrape it up after she goes to sleep (she climbs all over me if I'm trying to clean the floor when she's awake. SHe's obsessed with the broom/mop)

I don't know if they make disposable ones but I'd say it would be a waste of plastic if they did. Are they more of a PITA then the floor to clean?

Or should I just do a plain sheet?

What have you done?

Re: Has anyone tried...

Hi, My dd just turned 2 and I still have this problem. I bought 2 regular cloth table clothes. After each meal, I shake it outside and put it over her high chair. When I wash one, I use the other. It has worked out really well. I tried those plastic ones in BRU, didn't like them.

Oooh, that's a great idea. I'm going to get one tomorrow at the .99 cents store.

I have one that isn't disposable. I got it since the dining room has carpeting right now and I didn't want to have to pick food out of there. It's easy to clean.

Ava is the same way....I swear she throws stuff on the floor just so she can say Uh-Oh. I think I'm going to pick up a 99cent table cloth

lol thats what Julia does at my parents house because they have 3 dogs! So when she is home she thinks its ok to throw her food on the floor here, so I will need one of those floor mats also, I have seen them at BBB.
