Has anyone travelled using their passport with madien name on it?

I just realized that my passport is still in my madien name. Will that be a problem if I also bring my marriage license & driver's licence? Has anyone done this?

I'm pretty sure the ticket has to match the passport. What does the ticket say?

The ticket and passport must match otherwise you won't be allowed to travel.

Yes, as the PP said the ticket has to match the passport name. When DH and I went to Europe around our 1 yr anniv I traveled under my maiden name.

When we booked Aruba we did it under my married name and I didn't get a chance to change my name on the passport. At JFK they gave me a little problem and I had to pay some fee. There were no issues in Aruba returning home.

It depends where you're going, but better be safe and have it changed. I recently changed it so there's no more issues

thanks, I have to wait until tomorrow to make an appt with the passport office in the city because then I will be 14 days within travel. Ugh, I am so mad at myself for not doing this earlier. We are going to Aruba but book it spur of the moment last month.
