Has anyone taken their DC to Monster Jam?
DS is 2 1/2 and is OBSESSED with Monster Jam. Apparently they are having something out at Riverhead Raceway Sat. and Sun. that my dad and DH want to take him too. I am nervous he is still too young and may get scared. Plus, I'm not sure if he will need headphones to protect his ears.

I would like to know what people think b/c DH wants to take DS too......we are obsessed with Monster Jam here too!!!

My 4 year old DS went earlier in the year at Nassau Coliseum and my husband told me it was very very loud. They sell headphones there for $20 and they are huge. They did have a great time.

My brother took his son who was 2 1/2 at the time to a monster jam show. He liked it when it 1st started but got scared when they lit the trucks on fire, my nephew ran they had to chase after him and refused to go back.

I took my nephew to see Monster Jam for his 5th birthday. It was loud, don't get me wrong. But we stopped at Walgreen's on the way and picked up those foam earplugs that you twist and insert into the ear canal. They were great.
Most of all, he had a BLAST and talked about it for a good year afterward. He just went into 3rd grade and he sometimes STILL says, "Aunt B, remember when you took me to the Monster Truck show?"
