Has anyone taken/do public speaking? Can you give me some tips?
I have to give a presentation on Tuesday for about 60 teachers  on the dullest topic imaginable (new state tests). I have never presented to such a big group, the topic ***** and I am not the best public speaker.
If anyone has tips, I'd be grateful. (Changing topics is not an option, unfortunately.  )

Can you do a powerpoint, or overhead projector presentation? I always found it helpful to have slides, so I don't have to memorize everything, and the key points are up there.

TIPS
That's probably the best advice to look at.
Go in with confidence and all the rest will come!! And even if you aren't feeling confident - fake it. I find that if I act confident it eventually turns into real confidence!!

This is a major part of my job. I am a trial attorney- so i go to court and talk to judge and juries.
Just talk to these people. They are your peers. Be confindent. Have notes- but don't read from them. Just glance at them. The best I have found is to have an outline of what you want to say with key phrases.
Know your topic and make lots of eye contact. You'll be great!
