Has anyone rented a carseat while renting a car?
We have one seat that we will be bringing for one of the boys.
We will need to rent another.
The only other time we did this was when Jack was a baby and they gave me some cheesy carseat that gave me heart palpatations the entire time.
How are the convertible seats that they rent out?

We rented one while in italy and I wasn't happy at all with it. Like you said it literally gave me heart palpatations the entire time... and then dd had a poop explosion all over it, which was SUCH a pain... Next time I travel I would def bring my own. Who knows though domestic could be better than international.

I did in Chicago and it was awful. I didn't feel comfortable with DS in it at all, luckily we were only there 2 days for a wedding so it wasn't a lot of driving around. Since then I got this: http://www.theportablebaby.com/gogokidz.html
I just roll him around the airport in his car seat and snap it into the rental when we get there. It's great!

I just roll him around the airport in his car seat and snap it into the rental when we get there. It's great!
This is actually what I will do. I have an extra carseat in my dads car so it's perfect. Thank you thank you thank you! Where can I get it? BRU? BBB? Online?

I had gotten mine at BBB but I was BRU today and saw that they had it there too.

When are you going away? I'm flying out sat won't be home until Thurs the 15th but you can borrow mine if you'd like?
