has anyone recently returned their used bumbo
I heard that you can return bumbo's to walmart, target and BBB...but I was asking walmart about something on the phone and mentioned it and they said the time to return them has passed...but someone else on FB said they just returned one last week. I will never use mine again and prefer to return it for credit if possible...anyone have luck doing this recently?

what's wrong with them? I remember a recall where a parent put the child on a table unattended and the baby fell off. I think there was another story too but both were unattended children. Is there more to this now?

Some stores are still doing it. I had trouble last month returning one for a friend. It all depends on who you get at the store..

it's the same old recall but I never returned mine and even with a strap I just won't use it. I didn't have my son on any table or elevated surface. He was on the floor in the bumbo and i was right next to him folding and putting away his clothes. I got up to put his clothes in the drawer and He flopped himself right out and split the skin that connects his gums and lips. I will never use one again...straps or not. It's just too easy for kids to get out of them and you can't use them for long anyway.
eta: this happened about a year and a half ago, my son is almost 2 now...but i was going through his closet and saw it sitting up top and remembered someone saying you could return them for credit. Figured I'd find out before I just throw it away.

My sister in law just returned one last week to the Walmart on east setauket. I think she got $42.00 for it.

bring it back to buy buy baby. they take back anything that they sel-box or no boxl. they will give you store credit.
