Has anyone ordered a cake at Costco lately?
I went to go place an order for a cake for my DD's first birthday party at Costco today.
They totally changed it. You don't have as many choices anymore! 
The only 2 choices you have now are:
Vanilla cake with vanilla cheesecake filling and vanilla buttercream frosting.
Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting.
The last time I ordered they had so many choices for fillings and frostings. And you could put whatever filling in whatever cake you wanted.
Oh well... it's still going to be delicious and you really can't beat the price! 
Just wondering if anyone else noticed this at other Costco's. I'm in NJ.

Yep! I hateeeee that they don't have all the options anymore! They had awesome options and I loved how you could customize them!
That said, the choices they left are still great and you're right, it will taste great regardless.

yup....we went there to order our DD's first birthday cake in june and found that to be the problem.
needless to say we don't do costco cakes anymore. We did get one from stop and shop which was awesome though.

It's true everywhere! I noticed when I did DS's cake in June. I was so upset, b/c my favorite is vanilla cake w/ chocolate filling.  I think I'll do the BJs cakes from now on, even though I like Costco better.

OK, so my Costco is not the only one who made the change. How annoying! But for $16.99 I guess you really can't complain!
