has anyone made Elmo(or any other) cake using Wilton cake pan?
I was thinking of making this for DD's bday:
If you bought the pan did it come with the recipe of the cake? (not just the instructions of how to use the pan and decorate the cake , but also the recipe of how to make the cake, ingredients and all)

Hi!
I made that cake a couple of years ago. It is very easy and it tells you how long to bake the cake, etc. on the back of the piece of paper (Elmo's head). I will tell you though it took us a long time to decorate Elmo. Good luck!

I made it- It only told you how long to bake the cake- I just used betty crocker and followed the instructions.

So you mean you used the ready to make cake in the box? how many boxes did you use?
