Has anyone had success with the "No Cry Sleep Solution"?

As I have posted before, DH and I are at the end of our rope with lack of sleep. CIO is not an option for us. I was thinking about checking out this book.

I have the book, I just don't seem to have the time to ever read more than 5 pages or so at a time so it's very slow going! I don't want to really start until I've read it all (I think she specifically says not to) so I can't comment really. We have started a strict bedtime routine- bath, books in dimly lit room, then nurse to sleep (can't seem to break this one yet) then in crib (but she's already asleep at this point). I'm trying to just really get the routine imbedded in her at this point. DD is 10 months old and is still up anywhere from 2-6 times a night. Chat Icon Can't bring myself to do CIO either.Chat Icon

I did when I used it for night time nursing weaning. it's more involved, takes time, but it really worked for us.

I am about to pick it up again for our night time sleep ritual now that he's two and a full blown toddler. I am going to use it to gradually get him to fall asleep without me, and then for when we transition him into his big boy room.

it's not very popular and it requires A LOT of patience and dedication, but it's worth it.

Thanks ladies. I'm fully prepared to do something like this that takes time. I made it 13 months with terrible sleep issues so whats a few more?
