Has anyone had sciatica or

the baby sitting on the sciatic nerve where the pain is so bad that you cant even walk or stand up straight??
my SIL has had this for over 3 weeks already and there is nothing they can do for her I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and had any advice to help her feel better
she is hunched over and cant do anything plus she has 4 sons that she has to take care of so any suggestions would help

I have times where its nearly impossible for me to walk - doc said there isn't much we can do, just the way the baby is positioned. to ur sister hopefully the baby will switch positions soon

same for me too. sometimes I use ice packs which reduces the swelling and that helps temporarily.

A friend of mine had this with both of her pregnancies, unfortunately there isn't much relief. She did go to physical therapy I think twice a week, maybe she can get her Dr to prescribe that. Or go see a reputable chiropractor.

I had it really bad when I was about 5 and a half months pregnant. It lasted a week and every step I took, it took my breath away and I almost had my leg buckle from underneath me!

Asked my doctor and was told that there really is nothing you can do for it except hope that the baby moves. HOpe you feel better!
