Has anyone had laminate tile installed?
The laminate floors that resemble tile?
Thinking of this possibly for my bathroom since its our only bathroom and tearing the floor apart would be inconvenient. Just want something a little nicer than the run of the mill viny floors...

My parents just had new laminate tile flooring installed in their entryway, as well as dining room and sunroom. It looks really great - - like large ceramic tiles. They've gotten a lot of compliments and people cannot believe it's laminate. It really modernized the rooms and looks very high quality. Plus, it's really durable (I have ceramic tiles in my entryway and kitchen and they've cracked, chipped, etc.).
They used Empire Carpet and were very happy with their workmanship. They did a really good job.

they have laminate that is in small sheets that you grout so it really seems like tile. I didn't go this route because it was way to much effort for me and i wanted a black and white checkered board affect. Home Depot and Lowes both have it. I like anything by Armstrong.

Yes we had it installed. I love it. It looks really nice and it never looks dirty.

We did it in one of our bathrooms & I absolutely love it! It's so easy to clean and so durable. It really does look like real tile too.

We did it ourselves. Funny because people look at it and swear its ceramic tile or whatever and then they always have to bend down and touch it to make sure lol
