Has anyone had a birthday party at the RVC rec center?

If so, can you provide some feedback? Thinking of booking DD's second birthday party there!

Had DS's 2nd there. It worked out well. Good open space for kids to move around in and reasonable (although you have to bring everything I yourself so it adds up quick enough)
Nothing fancy, but perfect for that age

I figured for 2 years old, it was perfect Chat Icon Is the party in the gym upstairs (that's where we took a mommy and me class)? Is there someone who supervises the party or is it completely open play?

How is the room where you eat?

TY!

My friend had her DD 4th birthday there in may. It was great. The kids all played in the gym area and then went into another room for pizzas and cake.

The room is supervised by 2 people.

We go to class there, have been to many parties and DD's party will be there.

The room were you eat is your basic open room with a small kitchen and tables.

They have various birthday decorations up already but you can bring your own. I am bringing a pinata, balloons, etc for DD's party.

The kids never want to leave when we go.

I am going to a party there on Sunday and I can take pics if you want for you so you can see how they set it up.

$230 for non resident or $190 for a resident. This is for 10 kids. Birthday child is free and every child after 10 is $9.

You have to supply your own food and paper goods.

We are having pizza delivered from Gino's and some water and juice boxes. That is it.

Here are a few pics I took for you. I did it with my cell so sorry they are blurry.

This party was in the main gym and the party room was downstairs.

Our party will be in the upstairs gym and the party room is across the hall.

What about the cost of adults? Is this place okay for a 1st birthday party? She would pretty much be the youngest one there, with other babies 1.5years and up.

The party we went to was for a 1st Birthday:)

The price does not include food. We plan on and what most people do is just order extra pizza for the adults.

It is perfect for all ages.
