Has anyone ever painted a stove ?
I have appliance paint, just cuirous if anyone has done this, my ugly stove is half white and half black !

My mom has painted her stove twice already... always comes out great and lasts about 7 years. Hers was black and bone - she had it painted it all black...

did she have it done somewhere or use appliance paint herself? GE said I can't paint the top, it is a special technigue they bake it on.

Honestly - this is really random - she had it painted at an auto body paint shop. I think they actually used auto body paint on it...
Like I said - it held up for like 7 years... It has some minor chips on it now, but it really looked sharp for a while after it was painted.
Hers is a glass top though, so just the rim is painted - is yours a gas or electric coil stove?

Mine is gas, I think I can spray the bottom drawer black, but I don't think I should touch the top of the stove where the burners are.
