has anyone ever felt this....
I've felt this pain several times during my pregnancy (I'm 12 weeks) but the last few days- WOW. It actually really HURTS. I usually feel it when I'm getting up from a chair, or moving around too quickly.
This morning, I turned around too quickly in the bed and YOW!!! It's this intense stretchy feeling in my very low right abdomen.
Then at the mall, not even sure how I moved but yikes, it came back again.
It comes very quickly and goes away just as quickly. When I press on my belly I don't feel a thing. I'm thinking it's muscular.
Is it safe to assume I'm okay since I haven't bled at all?
Is this something anyone else has felt before or am I alone in this? TIA

Re: has anyone ever felt this....
it might be round ligament pain (which is totally normal)-- google that and see if that is what it seems to be.

Thank you ladies- I looked it up and that's what it is! Strange that it really only happens in 2nd trimester when I've felt it at different degrees for a while- it's just WAY more intense and noticeable now.
Thanks ladies!

Sounds like round ligament pain to me. You can try drinking a lot of water and getting up slowly do try do reduce it. It will get better and then go away completely as you get further along.

Yes, and at almost 38 weeks it REALLY hurts to try to roll over in bed! I always thought I felt pain earlier on, but your doctor was right..."you aint seen nothing yet!"

Re: has anyone ever felt this....
I've had that happen a few times with this pregnancy. My doctor said it's round ligament pain and totally normal. If you're concerned, perhaps call your doctor just to confirm it's nothing to worry about.

Re: has anyone ever felt this....
yikes...I guess it's true I haven't felt nuttin' yet!
Ya know, what's weird is, I wasn't even moving and I still felt a little twinge in that area. Not that same awful stretching, just a quick twinge and it went away.
Straaannge stuff we feel during this time huh?
Thanks everyone for chiming in!
