Has anyone ever done a Dolphin Encounter with a little one?

There are age requirements to many of those places. The lowest I have seen is 6 years old.

Yes, definitely age requirement.
Several members of our family did it while in Hawaii... all had to sign a legal waiver, the parents had to sign for the kids. All kids were 12 and over.
I do believe the minimum age is 6. I can't believe I'm typing this but Kate Gosselin's sextuplets just did it for their 6th birthday. The resort contacted them right after their 5th birthday, so I'm guessing the PP is right, 6 is the minimum age.

There is no age requirement for the Encounter. You can be an infant to 100. For the swim def there is but just for the Encounter there isn't.
I have done it several times in several islands but we are going on a cruise next year and the kids will be with us. DS will do it but I don't know yet about DD. She will be 2 then.

We did the Dolphin encounter at Atlantis when DS was 15 months old. He loved touching the dolphins and watching them do all there tricks. Definitely recommend it.

we also did the dolphin encounter with DS when he was 15 months. He was not too happy but I think it was because the water was cold. And he didn't want to touch the dolphin. He liked it doing the tricks and splashing.
