Has anyone else had similar skin issues?

I've always had pretty good skin, but it has been awful since becoming pregnant. I break out on my chest now. Chat Icon My forehead isn't so great either. The rash that appeared at 8 weeks is now back although I have some medication that's helping.

On top of that, I now have several little pimple-like bumps along the outline of my lip. I had a few a while ago and now they're back. Sorry to be gross, but if anything, they're filled with clear liquid.

Has anyone had similar skin issues? Every time I think my skin is getting better, new issues appear. Chat Icon

Yes, my sking has been disgusting since about 6 weeks. All over my chin, my neck is gross, my upper back and shoulder blades and shoulders, my chest. Most of them are tiny little red bumps and you can't really see them that much, but I can see them, and feel them. I hate it. Chat Icon

Re: Has anyone else had similar skin issues?

My skin was AWFUL with pg #1. I had been on Accutane years ago and was really disappointed to see my acne return. It was REALLY bad on my forehead and neck. After I gave birth, my skin went back to normal thankfully.

This pg, I;ve definitely seen an uptick in my acne, but it hasn't been as bad.

I have the same problem. I have always had clear skin- even as a teenager and now my skin is awful. I broke out all over my chest- that has finally went away. Now my face is back to breaking out. My chin looks awful. I dont think there is enough cover-up in the world to help me! Chat Icon

Me too!! I've always had such nice skin, no breakouts except for the occasional pimple. Now forget about it...........I'm broken out on my forehead and chin (at times), my chest, back, and get this.......in the bend of my elbow!! What the heck is that about???!!! Chat Icon

I've always had nice skin, but since about week 5 or 6 I have had terrible breakouts around my jawline and forhead...they are bumps under the skin though..I hate it but nothing seems to be getting rid of it.

My sister used proactive through her whole pregnancy and her baby was perfectly healthy. I am going to ask my Dr about this on the 17th.

Re: Has anyone else had similar skin issues?

you are totally speaking my thoughts...I never had acne in my life, even through high school I was blessed with good skin, now my forhead is a zone of these tiny small pimples, I can't stand it I keep picking at them!!!

Re: Has anyone else had similar skin issues?

i never suffered from serious acne-just normal teenage hormonal changes.. but i did for a minute early on when my doc changed my prenatal pills.. i complained bout nausea and he changed my pills and i started to break out..so i asked him to change them back.. the nausea wasn't bad enough for me to take pimples as part of the cure.. lol.

now i have clear skin but i have dark lines around my neck.. can't do anything bout that..eeryone is telling me it'll go away..

I've been using it since before I got pregnant and I am 29 weeks. I actually never thought to not use it, I don't think it's a problem though.

Re: Has anyone else had similar skin issues?

My skin was terrible from when I got my BFP (9dpo) until about week 8. I had pimples like crazy all over my chin, neck and around my mouth.

My OBGYN told me to let them go away naturally, which I did. I'm almost 12 weeks now and my face is pretty much completely clear. My doc said NEVER to use the acne treatment meds because it can be harmful to the baby.
