Has anyone done eyelash tinting?
I was looking the website of the Spa I go to and noticed eyelash tinting. I wasn't sure what it was so I googled it.

It sounds so convenient. Has anyone done this?
If yes, what was your experience like?

Lots of people I know have this done, mainly people who are quite fair because if you have dark eyelashes already, it just makes them slightly darker. The dye that they use is safe, because they use it so close to the eye. You can also have small individual extensions glued to your eyelashes, and apparently they last until your real eyelashes fall out. I think that would be a great thing.They look fab, I have seen them.

Ummm, well, my older stepsister learned how to do it from some model friends she had and taught me. Let's say it ISN"T safe the way I learned but the results are awesome. The idea is great for summer when mascara wears off at the beach and all.

I have had it done a few times. I never felt that my eyes or eyelashes were in danger. You just have to stay really still I kept blinking and the lady told me i would look like a panda if I didn't keep my eyes closed. I never looked like a panda and the dye made my eyelashes stand out on those days I couldn't wear mascara.

I always dyed my eyelashes before coming to the US, especially when going on vacation. You don't have to use mascara and your eyes look great during the day. They sell a kit in Europe by Louis Marcel and it's super easy to do yourself. It's not FDA approved over here, so you won't find it in the stores, but I'm happy to see that spas are doing it now and would definitely have it done on me.

I had my makeup done at Maximus for my sister's wedding and asked about this...the makeup lady said it was illegal to do in the US and can cause blindness...??
