Has anyone bought dish towels from William Sonoma?
How do they hold up? Are they good quality?

Re: Has anyone bought dish towels from William Sonoma?
We have the William Sonoma all purpose dish towels as well as some of the stripped and a set of the microfiber towels and we love them all. They hold up very well especially after many many trips through the laundry. We like them so much we have purchased them for others as part of a housewarming present.

Re: Has anyone bought dish towels from William Sonoma?
We have white with the thick green stripe in the middle with the name on it.
The only gripe I have is that they become misshapen after a lot of washings/dryings. I suppose if we had a surface we could lay them flat on to dry - or if we were the kind of people to iron our dish towels - that wouldn't be a problem.
This does not stop me from wanting to buy more in different colors though.

I have a set of white waffle weave type kitchen towels from WS that I love. I have had them about 5 years and they look new.

I agree with this. I love the other type of towels I have from WS, but I am not a fan of the logo ones so much.
Flour sack towels are the most absorant for drying dishes right after washing them, IMO. I have some (not from WS) but they are my favorite towels to use on an everyday basis.

I use those too, and some of mine are from Williams Sonoma. Some are ratty, but we use them a lot & have had them a while. They are really absorbent, and when they gets holes, they still make great rags.
We keep one of those out for dishes & then a decorative one (from wherever--usually gifts from grandma) out for hands, counters, & decoration.
