Has anyone been successful with Broadway week tickets?
My kids are begging to see Aladdin. I would love to snag tickets for us. I am not exactly sure what time they go on sale. I will be at work at that time (teaching, so no chance to log on). I am hoping that by my lunch time tickets will still be available. Are they very hard to come by? Any tips or suggestions? TIA!

Not sure about Broadway Week (don't know what that is), but Kids Night on Broadway tickets sell out pretty much instantly. You might be better off with a discount code for another week (if there is one available for that show..most shows have discounts...check broadwaybox

I work in Broadway ticketing.
Your best bet is to have someone buy the tickets for you when the onsale starts if you can't be on a computer at that time. Chances are pretty slim that any tickets will be left for that show by the time you can take a break.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had a feeling it is that difficult. Any idea what time they go on sale?

I don't think the on sale time has been determined yet. Sign up for email notifications via the NYC GO link that you posted and they should tell you once it's confirmed.
Good luck!

If you happen to hear the time they go on sale would you please let us know? I'm wondering if I should stay up until midnight to buy on the 5th.

My friend told me they go on sale at 9 am. She said she read it somewhere. However I haven't been able to find that info for myself.

Do you purchase them through Ticket master with a code? I want to be ready and logged in. I wonder if I could login and select tickets just before the sale time and then apply the code after 9:00?

I bought during the last broadway week and saw Wicked in September. Will be buying again, this time trying for Aladdin and Wicked again to take my hubby.

I was able to get tickets during my lunch break. We got balcony seats. I wouldn't have minded paying more for better seats but none were available. I am just glad we are going!
What worked for me was going on the Ticketmaster website and plugging in the code. I selected Pick For me rather than use the map. The map had no seats available.
