Has anyone added a name on a deed in Brookhaven?
I'm assuming I have to file this through a RE attorney or a Title Agency? Can someone tell me what the process is?

Honestly, I don't know. Call your local Title company and ask them. They'll know.

You should use an attorney. Things can be more complicated than you think. Deeds are recorded with the County, but they don't check if its a valid deed, they record anything. It's up to you, your attorney or a title company to make sure its a valid transfer. You need to make sure that there aren't any title issues and that what you're doing will serve your intent.

we hired an attorney and have filed the paper work but have yet to receive anything in response
