Hard to breathe
Is it me or do you find that during the 3rd trimester it is harder to take deep breaths. Sometiems when I yawn it seems like I cant get a really big one out cause some force is stopping it

Re: Hard to breathe
The baby grows into your chest cavity, especially if you're carrying high. I was very nervous about this because I have asthma. But luckily for me, I have been carrying low.

Re: Hard to breathe
Yes!! I am still carrying high. My baby likes to snuggle into my chest. Yesterday I was kicked in my heart and in hurt so badly that I screamed.

Re: Hard to breathe
I'm not that far along, but I find with this humidity I lose my breath. And walking up stairs.

Re: Hard to breathe
As most of you know, I can hardly breathe sometimes. I had to undergo a lot of tests and I found out that I have a heart arrhythmia. I have to take a heart medication now. It could be from the pregnancy, or something I never knew I had that suddenly got a lot worse. It may go away after the baby and it may not. I may need a procedure done after the baby (I have a feeling I will not).
I am not yet at the point where baby pressure is causing a problem but I do not know how I will cope with that in addition to the problems I have when I have an episode with this heart thing.
If you think there is a real problem, get it checked out. Do not ignore something if it is more than just a minor discomfort.

Re: Hard to breathe
I am carrying high and yes, breathing has been difficult for me since the second trimester. I don't remember the last time I took a deep breath and just walking a small distance makes me out of breath!
