Happy 2nd Birthday Gracie!!! (a birthday letter from your mommy)
Grace and her daddy are taking a nap...the perfect time for me to hop on here and give my little angel a shout out! 
Grace,
You are my gift from God. You are the light in my life. I want you to know how precious you are to your dad and I. I made a promise to God about a year ago that NOT ONE day would go by where I would not tell you or show you just how much I loved you, how thankful I AM that He chose me to be YOUR mom. You are the reason I fought so hard to live, to get better and why I still fight all the time to be healthy. Whenever the pain was at it worst, your smile, your hug, your laugh made "mommy's boo boo" all better.
Your smile and laugh can light up a room. I love that way you hold my finger and pull me around the house showing me everything, pointing to everything. I love looking at the world through your eyes. I love how you can make a game out of anything and that you see the fun in everything. You teach me everyday. Life lessons that I would never have learned if not for you. Thank you for your sweet disposition and your hugs and kisses when I do not deserve them.
It was you who taught me that the love you have for others in life is THE ONLY thing that matters. It is the only thing you can take with you when you leave this earth. It is what sent you to us. God saw that your dad and I had so much love in my hearts that the only way to hold it all was to send you to us so it could be showered all over you.
I will never know what the future will hold for me, you or anyone. One thing I am certain of is that you are wanted, loved, cherished, accepted, treasured and respected for who you are by your dad and I. That words cannot express the enduring love I have in my heart for you now and forever.

Thanks girls
I printed it out and put it in her scrapbook. I tucked her in tonight, rocked her to sleep and I had to have DH come in to get me b/c I did not want to leave her room with her sleeping on my lap.
