Hands/feet swollen

I am 34 weeks now and I noticed in the past week or so my hands and feet have been swollen everyday. I dont know if this is because I sit at a desk all day, if I'm not drinking enough water or if I'm taking in too much salt. My rings fit up until this point and now I can get them on but my engagement ring is a little hard to get over my knuckle to take it off. As far as my feet they look terribleChat Icon Usually when they are swollen it will go away overnight when I sleep and in the morning they will be ok. this morning when I woke up they were still swollen.

Did anyone else experience this?

Re: Hands/feet swollen

My hands and feet were horribly swollen with my first. I tried to keep my feet up as much as possible. At work, I would prop them on something under my desk. At home I would recline the chair and put an icepack on them to try and take the swelling down. It was really just from daily activity that catches up with you at the end of the day. Try and put your feet up as much as possible.

Re: Hands/feet swollen

Right there with you. My ankles have been swelling for a month or so now but my hands just started last week (34 weeks). For me, I wake up with swollen hands and it goes down throughout the day, my ankles start off the day normal and puff up as the day goes on. Not much we can do. It does bother me that I can't wear my rings anymore. Chat Icon
