handbag issue.. anyone else?

I don't know why I never noticed this in the past.... but I've noticed this lately ever since I stopped wearing jackets.

When I carry my bag on my shoulder, the friction of when it rubs against whatever shirt I'm wearing causes my shirt to get pilled.

For reference, it's mainly my Neverfull or Gucci bags.. but not so sure that plays a roll at all.... and it happens with ALL shirts, ranging from less expensive to higher quality Chat Icon Chat Icon

It's really bizarre but I'm noticing this on all my shirts lately!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Anyone else have this problem? What's weird is I just started noticing this now.. and I've been using these handbags since forever!

Re: handbag issue.. anyone else?

I have heard of the color of the clothes rubbing off ON the bag but no, I have never had it happen where my shirt pills from my bags... I'm not even sure how you'd get rid of them, otherwise, I would just try to avoid wearing the bag like that (on your arm). Chat Icon

my cross over louis vuitton bag does this too. I spoke to a sales lady and she said it shouldn't, I have yet to bring my bag back to the store to be looked at.

My bag does this too. I don't think its the bag, its the friction of the bag against the fabric. I find cotton or sweaters are worse.

Sorry, no help other than it happens to me too.

Yes! This happens to me all the time. I think it's the stitching at the top of the bag. I tend to carry bags in my hand or on my arm now to avoid that.
