hand problems???
ok so the last week or so i have not been able to bend my fingers at all... i am sooooooooo swollen that i think their is that much fluid in about 8 of my knuckles, but my reg. ob says it is fine, but it really hurts, feels like they are broke at times............ anyone else have this??? o and it is in my knees as well.........

I would talk to your high risk doctor - bad swelling can be a sign of high blood pressure -(PIH) and I think but could be wrong didn't you post recently that your doctor's office said you had some high BP?
Try upping your fluid level extra fluids might help flush your system and bring down some of the swelling.

I would talk to your high risk doctor - bad swelling can be a sign of high blood pressure -(PIH) and I think but could be wrong didn't you post recently that your doctor's office said you had some high BP?
Try upping your fluid level extra fluids might help flush your system and bring down some of the swelling.
yes that is what they said last week, i am going to the speicalist today so we will see what he says, i drink so much water already i don't know how much more i can drink!!

I know the fluids always make me feel like I am floating away or will be sick if I drink any more.
It is really good you are seeing the specialist today - make sure you tell him what your bp was if you remember and tell him about the swelling and other issues he will definitely be able to help you or offer suggestions if there is anything you can do to help the problem

yeah there is nothing they can do just wait it out, but there was a small trace of protein in my urine but not enough for concern,,, we play it weekly now!

My hands are pretty bad too, but I am going to be honest that since I stopped working last week they haven't hurt as much, mainly because I don't really have to write and make it worse.
Nicole, you are stopping work this week, right? Maybe that will help.

I noticed recently that my hands swell a bit when I use the computer at work all day. You should see some relief when you stop friday. You are almost there!!
